Online German Classes Specially for Children

A Basic One-On-One German Course for Children Online

PRICE: 19.50 Euros per 60 minutes
I have created a specially designed course for teaching basic German to children, which can be easily deployed one-on-one online. It contains all the subject matter necessary for a standardized A1-test based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages for children.
If your child knows how to use a computer, is familiar with Teams or Google Chat, and some office suite applications such as word processing, word documents, presentations and collaboration, and has some basic communication skills in English, this course should be ideal for introducing your child to German.
All the teaching material is included in the price. It will be provided online via Google Drive and can be saved to your hard drive. Your child will have total access to everything we do in class and
will be able to review each class whenever he or she wants.

More Advanced German Courses for Children Online

PRICE: 19.50 Euros per 60 minutes
If your child already knows some German, I also offer more advanced German courses for children. Every course can be easily tailored to your child's ability and learning needs. The type or course depends on your child's level so I would have to run a few tests first in order to decide which course to recommend.

GET INVOLVED !!
To keep your child motivated, why don't you try to learn German together with your child? For children, it is much easier to stay focused if they have someone to study and practice with, especially when they have homework to do. Don't worry! It won't cost you more if you decide to join your child in class. Make it fun for your child. Play dumb and let your child be your teacher in the learning process. Pretend you don't understand something and have your child explain it to you. Learning through teaching can be very effective.

"Deutsch mit Socke" - Short Videos for Children Learning German

Here is a link to a web page where young children who already know a little German can practice their language in a fun way by watching short videos about simple situations in life.
This series is called "Deutsch mit Socke". The heroes are Esther, a young woman, and Socke, a red puppet shape like a sock, hence the name Socke, the German word for sock. Click on the picture above, and you will be led to the list with all the topics each video is presenting. Then simply click directly on the video you have chosen, and it will play. There is also an option to download the videos to your hard drive. I often use those videos in my lessons for children and sometimes, for adults who struggle a little with learning a new language.
